Q – How long do the sessions last? A – Sessions will be twice a week for six weeks. Each session is 45 minutes long please try to arrive a few minutes before each session to ensure you’re ready for the warm up.
Q – What will I be doing in the boot camp? A – The aim of the boot camps is to get fit and have fun; sessions will include flexibility, stability, core training, strength training, running drills, games and other surprises that will guarantee that you will be fitter than ever before. The more you put in the more you get out.
Q – How many people will be at the camp? A – The maximum number of participants will be 16 people. That way we can assure that you will receive individual coaching and care.
Q – What if the camp is not in my area? A – We will soon be launching camps in other areas around the Northwest. If you are interested in a camp please contact us with your preferred location. If you and your friends can get a large enough group together we can set up a camp at your preferred location and time.
Q – Do you run corporate boot camps? A – If there is enough interest and suitable location then corporate boot camps are an excellent way to create a fit and healthy team and boost company morale. See the corporate section of this website
Q – Does the camp have a military theme? A – No. All instructors are personal trainers and have no army background. Although the camps will be challenging the main emphasis is on having fun.
Q – I’m not fit. Will I cope? A – Anybody is eligible to sign up to the boot camp. It’s our job to help you get fit at your own pace. We will vary intensity and exercises to suit your fitness levels.
Q – How much weight will I lose? A – It’s not about weight it’s more about changes in body shape. The aim of the sessions is to burn fat and increase tone so that see the results when you look in the mirror or put on your favourite pair of jeans and realise you’re ready for a new pair! It’s a good idea to take some body measurements and even a photograph at the start of the camp so you can reassess and see how far you’ve come.
Weight loss aims should be no more than 2lbs a week and you need to remember that you will be building muscle and increasing water content both of which can actually add to scale weight in the short term. The aim is to increase health and fitness; weight loss and body shape changes will naturally follow. Most people drop at least a dress/jean size at the camps.
Q – What do I need to bring? A – Bring a track suit, good trainers. Bring water – lots of it – you’ll need it after all your hard work.
Q – What happens if I miss a session? A – Unfortunately there is no refund if you miss a session. If you want to reach your goal in the six weeks you need to fit the sessions into your life!
Q – How do I pay for the camp? A – Click on the sign up box on any page or go to the shop and select the course you wish to sign up for and you will be taken to an online payment page. It is possible to organise cash or cheque payments but we will require a £50 deposit with the remainder paid at the start of the camp
